Special Needs

Special Needs manages support contracts provided by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Community and Social Services assigned to people with special needs. The program manages all contract types, special services at home, respite care, ACSD, etc.. It maintains a list of clients currently being served and those waiting, a list of available workers, and a list of ministry contracts. Special Needs allows you to generate assignments from these lists and to enter the payroll for workers assigned to assist a client.

The program updates contract usage with each payroll entry and provides an on-screen view of the dollars and hours used and remaining for each contract. It also employs a host of reporting tools designed to produce information required by the ministries, contract status reports for families and workers, and program status reports for internal use.
